Agro-forestry project in Lavalleja at 2 hours from Montevideo. The land is located 35 km north of the city Minas in a region called Barriga Negra. 412 hectares are dedicated to forestry with plantations of Eucalyptus Globulus and Maidenii in 1993, 1997 and 2006.
Main house with living room, 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and staff house with living room, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, in excellent condition. Electricity connection to UTE network. Covered shed and complete facilities for working with livestock. The livestock area occupies approximately 400 hectares, supporting the production of 150 to 180 livestock units and 300 sheep. Proven forestry production: the last harvests (2015, 2018, 2021) resulted in a total production of approx. 77 000 cubic meters of timber (i.e. approx. 187 solid cubic meters / ha forested). Additional potential for new forestation: it is estimated that about 35 to 50 ha of plantation could be added.
