66 hectares or
163 acres.

Family owned agro-company started in 1972 with production and processing of fruits and grapes. The property consists of 66 hectares and is located directly along Ruta 5 not far from Montevideo.

33 hectares are planted with grapes, apples, pears and quince, the other 30 hectares with grains for additional income (this area could be converted to fruit plantation in order to expand production). 3 hectares are occupied by buildings and infrastructure. There is a large residence for the owner on-site.

Grapes are all sold to a local bodega. The rest of fruits are all processed on-site for mermelades and pastries. Their own fruits production is half of the input. The rest of fruits is purchased from other producers in the area. 95% of production is quince. They also produce other mermelades from figs, peaches, blueberries and cherries. They no longer manage their own distribution channels, but have outsourced this activity.

Current production is approximately 600.000 to 800.000 kilos. Private sales through registered trade mark.

The asking price for the ongoing business is 3.5 M US dollar.
