One of few professional pecan plantations in Uruguay. There are 25 hectares planted with pecan nuts and 4 hectares planted with pear, cherry, mandarines, tangarines and apples. All permanent crops are being irrigated. There is also a borehole.
Pecan trees are 20 to 30 years old and annual yield varies between 30.000 and 40.000 kg. Price for pecan nuts produced on this farm and sold on domestic market is 149 pesos (5,50 US dollar) for 100 grams peeled and split.
The farm border river Solís Grande and it also has small artificial lakes. There is a house for the farm worker and family. Besides this house there are two barns and a large covered area.
The property is located at 70 km from Montevideo and 40 km from Punta del Este.
Total area of this farm is 95 hectares.
